Tea Party candidates are not your friend, in spite of all their talk about lowering taxes and guns. Their platform doesn’t work for a civilized society with laws.
Senator Cornyn in supporting Tea Party candidate Sharon Angle in her bid for Senate Majority leader Harry Reid’s Senate seat in Nevada. She is certainly controversial having made statements supporting Second Admendment solutions to big government, privatizing Social Security, doing away with the IRS and abolishing the Department of Education.
Senator Cornyn, as Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, has advised her to avoid the national media because she embarrasses herself and in turn mindful Republicans everywhere. Well, I don’t think he told her that exactly, but we know the Senator is hiding a nutcase. Apparently, Tea Party Candidate Angle is avoiding the local media also and refusing to answer questions on her views about unemployed Americans being spoiled.
