Senator Cornyn, how would you balance the budget?

That’s the question we need to ask of conservatives. There is a great deal of Obama bashing going on because of the budget deficit. Yet the Republicans want to protect tax breaks for the rich, Wall Street and big banks, and of course defense spending. They are not only a do nothing party, they are a party without a plan to balance the budget.

Bill Maher focused his comments last night toward the Tea Party, but let’s ask the same questions of our Congressmen from both sides of the aisle. It’s a big problem that neither party want to tackle head on.
